Q-When you returned home, what happened?

A-I took to DJ again, and the first place I worked on my return to Nigeria was at phase II, a night club run by Soji Benson in Yaba Lagos. After working there for months, my other brother in the US came back home, his name is Gilbert Oboh, now late. So me and he were able to convince our parents to start our night club again, which they closed down years ago in 1983. This was happening in 1986 and they agreed to set up a night club again and it was called, The Lust Night Club, and during the opening party of the club, Art Alade (late) was chairman of the occasion.

After few years, I lost my father and the focus changed, I now decided to take my DJ thing to the next level, which is music production and to achieve my plans, I decided to go to England to learn more about music production, but my quest to England ended me in Holland, after a year there I tried to enter England, but I couldn’t succeed, so I now decided to come back to Nigeria because I never planned to live in Holland, that was in 1990, and during my 1989 club days at the Lust Night club between 1986.

That was when the Buka Night club in Lagos was functioning and some of the boys from here were attending the club and returning to our own to do musical performances, then I had started mentoring some of them before I travelled, so when I came back, Pupa Sunny, Daddy Josy, Iree Man, Likkle Dread were still holding on, even though the Buka was not functioning as it used to, and there came the need for those our artistes to find another place where they can be performing.

I love life, love God and am a collector of rare items like the ash of a phoenix, egg of a unicorn, tears of an Angel and I drink pap with chopsticks.
Creativity found me, though I wasn't lost and am still paying the price of a chosen one.
It has always been the nature of man to confuse genius with insanity.
